Brand Identity for
ZS Annual Meet 2019
The Brief
Objective: Create the theme and brand identity for ZS Associates' premier annual flagship event.
Audience: ~300 global leaders (Principals / AP’s) and their families.
Setting: 1-week retreat in Napa Valley, California, dedicated to collaboration and innovation.
Creative Strategy & Concept
After pitching 3 distinct thematic directions to senior leadership, a single core concept 02 - Transcendantzs was chosen:
TranscendantZS: High-performing ZSers pushing boundaries to achieve personal and professional greatness.
The Mindset: With rising client expectations, ZSers must "live on the slope" by rising to new challenges and continuously delivering cutting-edge value.
The Goal: Focus on performing at peak potential, recognising leadership milestones, and setting a higher benchmark for 2019 and beyond.
Visual Identity: Inspired by the Glyph
The main event visual identity was built around the glyph, which symbolizes transcendence.
The Parallel: Glyphs simplify complex concepts into a single visual character—directly mirroring how ZSers solve complex business problems every day.
Execution: These unique symbols were integrated across all event touchpoints to add depth and relevance to the networking and knowledge-sharing sessions.
The Solution & Deliverables
Following the core design approval, the brand identity was expanded into full-scale event collaterals. Collaborating with cross-border design teams in India and the US, deliverables included:
Digital: Custom presentation templates, meeting invitations, animated screening videos, welcome kit and so on.
Physical: Event notepads, customized food menus, and venue-wide environmental graphics.
